This limited edition screen print celebrates the historic mining area of Cornwall's north coast and its fantastic landscape. A place where great relics of industry provide an exciting visual interaction and contrast with their natural surroundings. This area of Cornwall around St Agnes and Perranporth also provides the dramatic backdrop to Winston Graham's famous Poldark novels.

Situated above the beach at Chapel Porth, the former engine house of Wheal Coates is a vivid landmark on this length of coastline, looking towards Porthtowan, Portreath, Hayle and St Ives. This print utilises the mine building as the focus of its image with cliffs, waves and gulls flying overhead.
